An Award winning start to the year

What a great start to this year…. Last week we won 'Sales Support Team of the Year' at the National Sales Awards 2009 for the Vodafone Campaign here at HSM. We were in a category of eight finalists which included key companies such as EDF Energy and British Gas.

The Vodafone Management team went to London Hilton Park Lane Hotel to collect our award followed by an evening of celebrations!

Our Vodafone campaign generates highly qualified B2B UK sales appointments for Vodafone across SME and SOHO channels. We are targeted to generate in excess of 1000 appointments per month for a sales force of over 100 staff. We also handle inbound new business enquiries through web and telephone to support and help drive additional lead generation.

Since the implementation of our support processes, Vodafone have seen a significant uplift in sales and size of opportunity converted from our leads. This has lead HSM to be sole provider of B2B lead generation and becoming the Sales Support Team of the Year 2009!

We are so proud of our team and our achievements! Let's continue the success through this year…

General Motors (GM) Team hit annual target

We've done it…HSM found out today that their General Motors (GM) Telemarketing team hit all targets set for 2008 for GM Fleet, B2B, Leasing and Opel Telemarketing campaigns. David Boakes, HSM Account Manager for GM said that it had been a fantastic year for the GM campaign as a whole, with all campaigns achieving targets despite what has been a tough year for the automotive industry.

The Team at HSM has once again made a significant contribution to our sales success during 2008, providing a responsive and flexible solution to the challenge of reaching Fleet Decision Makers throughout the UK.

NVQ's all round!

Another nine staff have been added to the NVQ Hall of Fame at HSM, after they passed their Level 2 Contact Centre assessment. HSM has been committed to the NVQ programme for a number of years and continues to invest in staff training and development across the company.

Trainer, Steve Russell was quoted on the success saying "This is a fantastic achievement for all the staff involved, the NVQ programme gives everyone a chance to develop within their role and also provides an opportunity for individuals to focus on their career development. This achievement is proof of them meeting high standards within many different aspects of their job role."

The aim by the end of 2009 is to have all staff at HSM trained to at least NVQ Level 2 standard. This would be a fantastic achievement for the company and is part of HSM's training and development vision.

What a Success!

HSM held a very successful Recruitment Open Day on Tuesday 7th October. Over 60 people attended the Recruitment Day and were offered the chance to look around our fantastic offices in West Swindon, meet and chat with some of our staff and watch an informative presentation on the fantastic opportunities HSM are currently offering to prospective employees.
